15th European Shotokan Federation ESF Shotokan Championship - Romania

The 15th European Shotokan Federation (ESF) Shotokan Karate Championship, held in Targu Mureş, Romania, between May 15–18, 2025, has been successfully completed. The prestigious event brought together approximately 1,000 participants from 18 countries, making it one of the most competitive Shotokan championships in Europe.
Turkish karate athletes proudly represented their country with outstanding performances in both kata and kumite categories. Throughout the championship, they demonstrated determination, discipline, and high-level technical skills against strong international opponents.
Competing across various age groups and divisions, Turkish athletes once again highlighted the strength and rising success of Turkish Shotokan karate on the European stage.
Coaches, referees, and officials also played a vital role in supporting the athletes and contributing to the successful organization of the event.
As the Turkish Karate Federation, we congratulate all our athletes, coaches, and clubs for their dedication and achievements, and we are confident that they will continue to represent our country with pride in future international competitions.
